The National Ethnographic Museum of Kruja (Muzeu Etnografik) is located in a beautifully preserved Ottoman-era house dating back to 1764. The building once belonged to a wealthy Toptani family and has been transformed into one of the most authentic cultural museums in Albania.
Visitors can explore original household items, clothing, tools, ceramics, and traditional crafts that provide insight into 18th–19th century Albanian life. Each room is arranged exactly as it would have been during the Ottoman period, making the museum feel like a step back in time.
Located near the historical bazaar and the castle, the museum is an essential cultural stop for anyone visiting Kruja.
