The National Museum of Skanderbeg’s Grave is located inside the memorial complex built on the site where Albania’s national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu, was buried in 1468. The museum commemorates his historical legacy and the League of Lezhë, the first Albanian union formed in 1444.
Exhibits include symbolic reconstructions, heraldic emblems, medieval weapons, documents, and artistic interpretations of Skanderbeg’s life. The memorial architecture integrates elements inspired by Illyrian, medieval and Renaissance heritage.
This museum is an essential pilgrimage site for Albanians and history enthusiasts.
